The Texas Prison Strap
As if our regular Prison Strap wasn’t mean enough, here we have an Extra Heavy Texas Prison Strap. It is the same size – 25” by 3”- as our regular Canadian Prison Strap, but the blade is double-thickness. That is 10 mm thick. Ouch! For serious, hard players. It is hand-stitched all the way around and has a five-layered built up, rounded handle for a good grip.
All our implements are made from our thick Oak Bark Tanned Harness Leather and in a choice of Rich Tobacco Brown or Black. They are hand-crafted from beginning to end, made with care and attention for the perfect piece. It is beveled and burnished to a glass-smooth finish, with a saddlers crease around the edge. Not only amazing to use and feel, but beautiful to the eye too.
Although we try to select the perfect piece of leather for our implements, sometimes the leather does have slight blemishes and grain. Also, because this is a natural material, colour may vary slightly from hide to hide. This, however, we feel is what adds to its individual natural character.

“Although not the owner of this particular implement myself, I had the amazing experience of being on the receiving end of it from a skilled and powerful Top who purchased one quite recently. Make no mistake, this is a prison strap that shouldn’t be wielded by anyone not fully conversant in the use of such implements, or indeed, submitted to by anyone who isn’t equally aware of what they’re letting themselves in for. Quite apart from the pain and exceptionally heavy force of impact upon landing, the experience is accompanied each time by what can only be described as the piercing crack-like sound of a lightning strike as the explosive pain reverberates through the recipient’s backside. In addition to its somewhat daunting but aesthetically pleasing appearance, it’s also a superbly crafted and robust piece of equipment. Having said that, providing both the Top and sub are on the same wavelength, the Texas Prison Strap makes for one hell of an effective punishment session and might well take pride of place among any serious CP Top’s implements collection. Highly recommended, though, again with the proviso, not an implement to be wielded or submitted to lightly (either figuratively or literally).”

This is a strap that is as brutal to feel as it is intimidating to behold. We received this about a week ago and I got to experience it for the first time a few days ago. As you can see from the pictures, it really is a work of art, beautifully constructed and finished. But the sheer size and weight of this strap make it very intimidating. As my top grabbed hold of it to inspect the strap, my pulse was racing even before I bent over. Once in position, and after one or two gentle taps to get the feel of the strap, she gave me the first real swat. This thing is so big, my whole backside lit up in an agonizing burst of sting, along with a deep and long lasting burn. Or, in summary, it hits with just as much brutal impact as you think it will. The nice surprise for my top – who has a preference for easy to handle implements – is that despite its size it was relatively easy to use. It’s very solid, with nice balance and the width and holes make it very easy to maintain accuracy (so she tells me). In practice that meant that the following swats were positioned right on top of each other building the intensity of the impact.
This is a brutal strap. If you like the Canadian Strap (I certainly do), you’re going to love the way this steps up the intensity. Be warned, it will make you cross your eyes from the first impact.
